  • People Strategies, Programs & Initiatives

    The Situation

Leaders across geographies and industries are seeking to enhance and optimize their organizational culture to attract and retain the best people, deliver better client service and ultimately, drive bottom line results.  Leading organizations are seeking to differentiate themselves as employers and providers of choice through company cultures that maximize collaboration, inclusion and innovation.

    How Christie Can Help

  • Flexibility, Work-Life & Wellness Solutions

    The Situation

Women continue to cite their need for flexibility as a reason they leave their employers. Organizations across industries are struggling to address work-life challenges and consequently, are experiencing huge retention costs. With the converging of preferences across genders and generations, this is an increasingly important factor for employers who seek to attract and retain top talent.

    How Christie Can Help

As a certified wellness coach and a researcher in the work-life space, Christie has helped companies create work environments that enhance the well-being, engagement and retention of their people. Her customized approach focuses on seeking synergies between the needs of your business, the needs of your clients and the needs of your people to simultaneously optimize organizational culture and performance.
  • Inclusion + Innovation Solutions

    The Situation

In addition to being an increasingly important talent segment, Millennial Women are a growing, critical customer segment with increasing buying power. At the same time, Millennial Women desire to have a voice in strategic market, talent and business decisions of their organizations.

    How Christie Can Help

At the intersection of the two challenges is a solution that both engages the voice of Millennial Women and helps drive the innovation and growth that organizations need to retain a market leading position. Beyond traditional focus groups and interviews, this is a new and innovative approach to help business leaders capitalize upon the voice of their Millennial population to drive product, service, talent strategy and marketing innovation (all while increasing engagement). Based on the idea of ‘hackathon’, the Ideathon engages Millennials in solving complex business challenges and issues.
  • Development & Advancement Solutions

    The Situation

Traditional workshops, trainings and learning programs can often feel outdated and therefore, don’t gain traction with emerging leaders. In addition, research has highlighted that Millennials often struggle to relate to facilitators of different generations - affecting engagement and ultimately, the impact of development programs.

    How Christie Can Help

Informed by her research on Millennial Women, Christie has designed interactive and innovative approaches to development and advancement. Rather than focusing on traditional areas such a ‘strengths’ and ‘development areas’, Christie focuses her sessions on the empowering concept of ‘Value’. She covers topics critical to development and advancement, including understanding your value, articulating your value and enhancing your value.
  • Emerging Leader Advancement Audit

    The Situation

With Millennials expected to account for 75% of the workforce by 2025 and women accounting for upwards of 50% of this group, executives are increasingly realizing the urgent business imperative of retaining and advancing this critical talent pool. These leaders are seeking to identify the factors that cause women to leave their organizations and to create innovative solutions to address them.

    How Christie Can Help

As Millennial Women themselves, Christie and Lauren Noël, Director of Women's Leadership Initiatives at the International Consortium for Executive Development Research (ICEDR) have developed the Advancement Audit © Lauren Noël & Christie Hunter Arscott, 2015. Harnessing the input of Millennial Women across the globe, Christie and Lauren have developed an actionable framework rooted in the needs and desires of the population that it is designed to target. The comprehensive Advancement Audit is designed to assess risks, identify high priority areas and propose leading practice solutions to address gaps.
  • Emerging Leader Aspiration Map

    The Situation

Women often struggle to identify and openly articulate their own aspirations and priorities. Beyond traditional career coaching and mentoring, organizational leaders are looking for an effective way to structure meaningful conversations around aspirations and use this as input into individual career plans and broader talent strategies.

    How Christie Can Help

While the Advancement Audit helps executives identify and address key risk areas on an organizational level, the Aspiration Map © Lauren Noël & Christie Hunter Arscott, 2015 is a tool for individual Millennial Women to better understand their own needs and desires. The Map ignites self-reflection – it catalyzes conversations that allow individuals to explore their aspirations and priorities through different stages of their professional and personal lives. On an organizational level, the Aspiration Map can serve as a platform for individual women to discuss their own needs – it can be an exercise integrated into existing mentoring, counseling, career coaching or performance management discussions.
  • Coaching

    The Situation

Many corporate and career coaching programs primarily focus on professional advancement strategies and goals specific to a particular organizational context or career path. In contrast, with the lines between work and home blurring, Millennial Women are increasingly seeking a platform to transparently talk about their lives, goals and priorities more holistically.

    How Christie Can Help

Smart leaders recognize that a fulfilling and happy personal life is a catalyst for professional success and are beginning to explore the role of the organization in promoting fulfillment – both in the workplace and outside of the workplace. Christie’s coaching focuses on the ‘integrated individual’, personal and professional, including career, relationships, health and wellness, lifestyle, passions and pursuits. She creates a safe space for individuals to talk about the interlinking, overlapping and sometimes competing and conflicting areas of their lives. She ignites conversation that allows individuals to explore integration points, trade-offs, priorities, goals and opportunities for reconciling conflicts between competing priorities. She then arms individuals with the tools to discuss these within their professional and personal relationships and settings.
